HELPAGE GHANA

HelpAge Ghana has been a member of the HelpAge global network since 2004. The organization assists various groups in Ghana in delivering services to older adults and plays a vital role in shaping national policies and government initiatives aimed at supporting this demographic.

As a leading authority on aging in Ghana, HelpAge Ghana is actively involved in efforts related to the national social protection strategy and pension reforms. Additionally, the organization is a prominent advocate for the Age Demands Action campaign.

HelpAge Ghana offers essential services such as healthcare, shelter, clean clothing, and food to older individuals. They also provide legal guidance to help seniors access government services. Furthermore, the organization organizes training for volunteer social workers and encourages local communities to support their elderly members.
