DKT INTERNATIONAL GHANA

DKT operates a regional social marketing program in Anglophone West Africa (AWA) from its base in Ghana. As an international network, DKT has a presence across South America, Africa, Washington DC, Asia, and other regions.

In Ghana, DKT's primary objective is to increase the contraceptive prevalence rate and reduce maternal mortality. To improve health outcomes, DKT focuses on two key strategies: training nurses and midwives to provide IUDs and implants, and ensuring the widespread availability of affordable, high-quality contraceptives within the private sector. Through its network of partner clinics and pharmacies, DKT strengthens the capacity of the private healthcare sector by providing training, products, and promotional materials to providers.

Beyond long-acting reversible contraceptive methods, DKT also offers two condom brands, Kiss and Fiesta, specifically targeted toward young consumers. Furthermore, DKT provides a range of user-controlled sexual and reproductive health products in AWA, including medical abortion combipacks, injectables, and HIV self-test kits.
