VOICE GHANA

VOICE Ghana is a self-advocacy organization dedicated to championing the rights of people with disabilities throughout Ghana.

We address the severe challenges faced by those living in rural areas, where access to education, employment, and healthcare is limited, and social exclusion is prevalent. VOICE Ghana empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve self-reliance, while also working to combat the lack of information and education about disability and human rights.

What We Do
✦ We promote access to quality education for children with disabilities
✦ We build capacity for disability self-help groups and disabled people's organizations
✦ We work to reduce cultural practices that lead to discrimination, stigma, and abuse
✦ Voice Ghana also supports self-help groups in the Volta Region
✦ The organization periodically organizes education and outreach on issues such as inclusion, gender justice, and HIV/AIDS
