The hike to the falls is relatively easy, with minimal elevation gain and few obstacles. The trail winds through a peaceful rainforest and past cacao farms. If you're lucky, you might even see a colony of butterflies fluttering along the path before you reach the stunning falls.
While in the scenic village of Liati Wote, you can take on the very strenuous hike to the top of Mount Afadjato, Ghana's highest peak. If you're looking for a less challenging activity, you can visit a nearby snake zoo.
The waterfall gets its name from the Tagbo River that flows through the area.
