YOUTH OPPORTUNITY AND TRANSFORMATION IN AFRICA (YOTA)

Youth Opportunity And Transformation In Africa (YOTA) is a non-governmental organization in Ghana with the mission to connect Africa's youth with opportunities to transform their lives

YOTA works with partners to create enabling environments for youth to lead, participate in and benefit equally from all aspects of peace, security, disaster risk reduction, and humanitarian action.
In this regard, YOTA works to support African governments to give youth a greater voice in decision-making at the local, national, continental and international levels and to consider setting up mechanisms that would enable young people to participate meaningfully in peace processes.

YOTA’s activities in this area ensure that more youth fully participate, lead and engage in political institutions and processes. YOTA also engages with justice institutions and makes them more accessible to and deliver for youth in all contexts.
