AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (AIS) -MIDDLE SCHOOL

The American International School (AIS) - Middle School is designed as a time of growth for students moving from Elementary to High School, with a focus on responsibility and academic development. Teachers collaborate to create a safe, accurate environment where students are encouraged to set and achieve personal goals.

Twice a year, students, parents, and teachers meet to discuss the students' progress and goals through student-led conferences. The curriculum incorporates hands-on, interdisciplinary projects that foster college readiness and real-world skills.

Students also begin a six-year plan to prepare for college admissions after high school. AIS offers additional support through the "Mind The Gap" program to help students catch up in Math and ELA.

The PSAT 8/9 is an important assessment that helps students understand their strengths, setting the stage for future academic success and college readiness. Middle School students engage in service projects and work with community leaders to connect their learning with the real world.
